Mary Hayes (Grigsby) Holland, 43, of Dallas, TX, was mercifully delivered by Jesus, her Good Shepherd, from the loving joys yet the intense struggles of this life on July 5, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Our chief comfort in the anguish of missing her is that she knew personally her Lord Jesus Christ who died to pay the penalty of her sin so she could live with Him forever.
Remaining to cherish precious Mary Hayes’ memory are father Bruce Grigsby, mother Ellen (Forde) Grigsby, stepmother Anne Marie Grigsby, brother Russell (Jenna) Grigsby, sister Kristine (John) Grigsby, and nieces, Hadassa, Rhoda, Charlotte, Josefine. Preceding Mary Hayes in heaven are her uncle Clif Forde, grandparents Holeman & Norma Grigsby, Doug & Mary Ellen Forde, great grandparents, great uncles & aunts and a throng of beloved family and friends. A funeral service will be held July 17, at 10:30 a.m., at Park Cities Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Pat Hobin will be officiating. “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed” John 8:36.
If you are unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/live/
Family will have a private visitation

Dearest Ellen - I pray the Lord Jesus will give you immeasurable comfort as you grieve this deep loss. I am so thankful to God that He answered our prayers, for you to see Mary Hayes "return to the land of the living" in your lifetime (Jeremiah 31:16). He answered that prayer in those last precious days you shared together. My prayer for you is from Jeremiah 31:25, "May the Lord give rest to His weary one and joy in your sorrowing", knowing Mary Hayes is safe in his loving arms and you will spend eternity together. I love you and I am here for you always.

Dearest Ellen, My heart is overwhelmed with grief in the passing of your sweet Mary Hayes. Oh the years we have prayed over her and wept for her to surrender to Jesus. What a gift that you were able to witness this redemption in the final months of her life! And now... she is completely surrendered to her Savior and living fully in His presence! Sending prayers for comfort and peace this week as you say goodbye this side of heaven. All my love, Mary Beth

Our dear Harry Mayes will forever bring joy to our hearts as we remember the countless time she and Kendra played together… She was like another daughter to us and we adored her. She and Ellen were the first people we met in Irvine California and their spirit led us to our savior Jesus Christ. Our lives have been forever changed. Our hearts are heavy for those she left behind yet rejoice knowing she is forever in the arms of Jesus
