Mark was born in Thorold, Ontario, Canada, a small industrial town near Niagara Falls.  He was the last of 8 children born to Sophia and Albert Dominski.

 

He leaves behind his wife Carol, 3 children, Mark, Greg and Lisa, 3 stepchildren, Ed, Bill and Sue, 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mark, Elaina and Mary, 7 step grandchildren, Keri, Stephanie, Jennifer, Jason, Scotty, Megan, and Jake, and 12 great grandchildren.

 

From an early start in Public School and High School, Mark wanted to be a radio broadcaster.  He created classroom radio shows when he was 11 and 12.  He studied public speaking in high school, and he wrote a pop music column in the teen section of the Toronto Globe and Mail Newspaper in the 1950’s he attended Ryerson Institute in Toronto enrolled in the Radio-TV Arts Course.  On the weekends he worked at CHWO in Oakville, Ontario, and during his high school and college years, he worked summers at CHVC in Niagara Falls.  He successfully completed the 2-year radio course at Ryerson, but he decided he wasn’t interested in TV.  It was radio he loved, and he was off the United States.

 

In 1958, with the help of family friends, he secured a job at WBNY in Buffalo, NY.  Hes radio career spanned from 1958 to 200, and took him from Buffalo to Cincinnati, Ohio to Chicago Illinois to Dallas, Texas.

 

Mark loved God, loved his family, loved music and loved traveling.  He was an active member of the Saturn Road Church of Christ.
