Teammate Houston , Texas

Eric and I played peewee football together when we were kids. We actually won the division championship game that year. I didn't know him off of the football field but I am sad to hear of his passing. He was a good teammate and it sounds like he grew up to be a good man too. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

Susan and Rob, I sincerely am at a loss for words because nothing is adequate and will not take away the devastating loss of sweet Eric. I have loved you all for decades. Please know that even though I have not seen you or spoken to you in quite some time - that does not diminish the pain I feel for all of you and the deep loss of Eric. I will hold all of you in my daily prayers that the love of your family and friends can carry you through each day and night as you navigate your pain. All my prayers and love Joanna
